BlueFire Digital Text2Give non-profits (501c3's only) can solicit donations via cell phones. The donations show up on donor's cell phone bill and carriers pass 100% of the donation to the NPO.

In order to accept donation via cell phone the NPO must be approved by Mobile Giving Foundation. This step typically takes 2-4 weeks after submitting the application to MGF with all required documents.

How it works

• Donor texts a keyword to shortcode.
• Donor receives confirmation text.
• Donor replys & confirms the donation.
• Donation is added to donor's cell phone bill.
• Donor pays the cell phone bill.
• Carrier transfers the donation to MGF.
• MGF distributes funds to NPO.

Fund Collection Process

• Carriers collect from donor when donor pays cell phone bill.
• Carrier transfer funds to MFG.
• MGF transfer funds NPO.
• Takes 30-60 days after donation.

Donation can be made for $5 or $10 and maximum donation a person/cell phone can made is capped at $30 per month.
